Laureate Learning Systems

Laureate and AMDi have partnered to offer Smart/Ease activities for the Smart/128 communication device that target Laureate’s Exploring Nouns software.  This perfect partnership takes advantage of Laureate's wonderful receptive software and pairs it with the expressive power of AMDi’s Smart/Ease activities.

Discover the positive effects of utilizing highly motivating receptive language software paired with appropriate visual scene static display overlays on the expressive communication of individuals with various disabilities including autism.

The Smart/Ease activities encourage individuals to comment about what is happening in software activities as will as the ability to expressively try out new vocabulary words learned.  This Smart/Ease Activity targets 6 scenes found in Exploring Nouns Stealing additions.  The 6 scenes are apart of The Smart/Ease activities can be used with all Exploring Nouns activities including Optimized Intervention which tracks students learning and provides appropriate levels of support.  Using Word introduction, a supplemental activity, along with AMDi’s Smart/Ease activity students can learn new vocabulary and use them in fun expressive activities such as “I Spy”.

We plan to also offer Smart/Ease activities for Laureate’s Exploring Verbs and Tiger's Tale programs soon.
